4 to 5 whole cloves

1 cup water

Optional: ginger, cinnamon, or honey

Instructions

Bring the water to a boil in a small pot.

Add the whole cloves and reduce heat.

Cover and let steep for 10 to 12 minutes.

Strain and serve warm.

One to two cups per day is generally sufficient for enjoying the benefits without overconsumption.
