Ingredients
For the Cheeseburger Filling:
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
6–8 slices of cooked bacon
6 slices of cheddar, American, or mozzarella cheese
For the Bang-Bang Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1–2 teaspoons sriracha (to taste)
1 teaspoon honey or sugar (optional)
For the Sandwiches:
8-slice sandwich bread
Softened butter (for grilling)
How to Make Crispy Bang-Bang Bacon Cheeseburgers
1. Make the Bang-Bang Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey.
Set aside (flavor improves as it sits).
2. Cook the beef
Heat a pan over medium-high heat.
Cook the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until browned.
Drain off any excess fat.
